The bike lanes on 1st and 2nd avenue are great. Set apart from traffic, with stop lights that have turn arrows for cars, so there’s less risk of a left turning car sending you flying ass-over-teakettle-over-handlebars.
Still a few kinks to work out, though. Like teaching delivery trucks that the bike lane isn’t also a handy-dandy double-parking site. This truck, and the one in front of it, were making deliveries at the organic community crunchy-granola grocery store on 1st Avenue.
